Delete Heart Steps data
Heart Steps has no accounts, so we hold no account data about you or your child. Everything Heart Steps saves is kept on your own device, and you can delete it at any time.
Option 1: Erase it in the app
- Open Heart Steps and go to Family settings (enter your family PIN).
- Choose Erase this app’s data.
- Type ERASE to confirm.
This removes every explorer profile, all progress and journals, family settings and time records on that device straight away.
Option 2: Uninstall or clear the app
- Android: uninstall Heart Steps, or open Settings → Apps → Heart Steps → Storage → Clear storage.
- Web version: clear the site data for Heart Steps in your browser’s settings.
What gets deleted
- All explorer profiles: nicknames, age groups and chosen explorers.
- All progress: discoveries, stars, cards, badges, missions, experiment answers, the field journal and Nature Camera pictures.
- Family settings: the family PIN, time limits and time records.
Backup files you exported yourself are not deleted automatically; delete them from wherever you saved them.
Anything on our servers?
No. If online Pip was used, our server does not keep the questions or replies after answering, so there is nothing stored to delete. If you have a question, email support@hivup.pro and we will reply within 30 days.
